Time-Domain Scattering Characteristics and Jamming Effectiveness in Corner Reflectors

The outboard corner reflectors are widely used as a countermeasure to radar tracking and detection. Therefore, it is essential determine the composite time-domain scattering characteristics of reflector ship against sea background jamming effectiveness array. In this paper, electromagnetic target, reflector, surface studied based on bouncing ray method (TDSBR). echo broadband cross section (RCS) results for time domain pulse incident also obtained high-resolution range profile (HRRP) calculated. We then devise an evaluation system centroid intensity similarity passive jamming. further propose array composing three sizes reflectors. Finally, analyzed by comparing RCS ship, deception measured calculating cosine peak envelope overlap. Simulation show that can achieve good performance both deception. simulation given proposed in paper provides significant practical insights into design analysis systems.
